Joan Brown
Joan Brown and her husband, Bob, have four children and seven grandchildren - with one on the way! Bob is a long time member of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, and Joan (still an official member of Memorial PCA) has been attending with him for three years. Christian education has been a passionate interest of Joan’s for a long time. She taught in Christian schools in Alaska, Kentucky, Michigan, and Missouri. She has a B.A. in history, an M.A.T. in social studies, and an M.A. in history. She is pleased with the great privilege to serve on the TOCS board and to be involved in Christian education from yet another perspective. |

Lee Engert
Education and Athletics Committees Lee is a retired teacher and coach following 35 years in Public Education and 10 years in Private schools in the St. Louis area. He comes from a Christian Lutheran background, graduating with a BA from Valparaiso University and a MA from Washington University. Lee has been married to his wife, Joy, for 54 years. They live in Wildwood and are founding and active members of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church. They have three daughters, Renee, Colette and Suzette, who live out of town with their families. |

Donna Hearne
Curriculum Committee Donna is an avid gardener and painter, but is best known as Executive Director of the Constitutional Coalition, a former official in the U.S. Department of Education, KSIV radio talk-show host for 24 years, and panelist on the Emmy award-winning TV program Donnybrook. She has authored several books, including, In Our Backyard: Is Radical Islam a Serious Threat to the U.S?, and has produced several films including the award-winning, The Rules have Changed. Donna’s husband of 48 years, Mark, is the former Chairman of the History Department at Westminster Christian Academy. They have five children and 15 grandchildren. Through the annual Educational Policy Conference and other conferences, Donna has brought over 300 distinguished leaders, speakers and notables to St. Louis. |

Cathy Jones
Head of School Cathy is a member of the Twin Oaks Presbyterian church. She has over 30 years experience as a teacher, 5 years in administration and is currently the Head of School. She earned her B.A. from Millikin University and her M.A.T. and Ed.S. in Administration from Webster University. Along with her husband Bob, Cathy has given much time and expertise to the church and school community. Cathy and Bob have a son and daughter who attended Twin Oaks Christian School. |

Terry Jones
Secretary Terry has a private law practice in West County, and he and his wife, Irene, live in Manchester. He has served in the United States Marine Corps, received his B.A. in History from University of Missouri-St. Louis, and his law degree from Washington University. Their three children, Nathan, Sarah and Aaron, are TOCS graduates, and Westminster Christian Academy grads. Nathan teaches at a Christian school in Honduras, and Sarah is completing her undergraduate education at Taylor University. Terry and Irene are long-time members of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, where Terry serves as a PCA ruling elder. |

Debbie Legters
Athletic Committee Debbie grew up in a Christian home and attended Christian schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating from Calvin College, she moved to Denver, Colorado, and taught for 3 years at Denver Christian Middle School. In 1996, God called Debbie to move to St. Louis to teach at Westminster Christian Academy as 7th grade Geography teacher for 6 years, leaving in 2002 to pursue the job of motherhood. She and her husband, Daniel, also a teacher at WCA, have three children; Alyssa, Caleb, and Owen all TOCS students. Debbie and her family attend Covenant Presbyterian Church. |

Frank Reed
Treasurer Frank served two terms on the TOCS Board from 1995 to 2001, and is an ordained deacon at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church. He recently retired after 38 years on staff at Washington University School of Medicine, and is a private pilot currently partnering in the building of an experimental aircraft. Frank and his wife, Barbara, live in Sunset Hills. Their daughter, Stacey, is a TOCS and WCA graduate, and is now in her second year at St. Louis University. The Reeds attended the first TOPC service in the church building in February 1992. |

Tom Russell
Tom Russell and his wife, Sheri, have been attending Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church since 1991 and Tom is an ordained deacon and elder in the Presbyterian Church of America. They have three children, Jake, Sarah and Shelly and one grandchild, Kayden, who is a student at Twin Oaks Christian School. Tom runs a research and development organization for a technology company. |

Richard Taylor
President Dick was raised in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, grew up in the Kirkwood area and attended Kirkwood High School, St. Louis University, and Washington University Dental School. He has been in private practice for 37 years, has served on the board of Westminster Christian Academy for 6 years, on the initial board of Promise Christian Academy, and serves on the board of Equine Assisted Therapy, which works with handicapped children and horses. Dick and his wife, Linda, have been married 39 years, and have been members of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church since 1991. Linda is a first grade teacher in the Rockwood School District, and their daughter, Allison Kenimer, taught at TOCS for 7 years. |
