A Peek at the Week... Things are continuing to move smoothly in our classroom and the kids seem very excited about all the new things they are beginning to learn. I am looking forward to seeing all of you on Thursday, September 9th at 7:00 p.m. for Parent Night. This is an important event and I encourage all of you to come. We will be looking at the 2nd grade curriculum and I will also be explaining to you our classroom routines, schedules, and assignments. This will be a very informative evening for all. I will also have some sign up sheets in the classroom where you will be able to sign up for class parties and volunteer opportunities within the classroom. Remember to check the "My Calendar" link to see test dates for the week. You can also find the 2B class newsletter on my website as well in a pdf format, which should make printing it up at home easy. *Important Dates to Remember: Monday, September 6: No School - Labor Day Wednesday, September 8: School Picture Day Thursday, September 9: Parent Night 7:00 p.m. - PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND! Thursday, September 23: Grandparents' Day at TOCS Friday, September 24: No School - Teacher In-Service Day
