Welcome To Twin Oaks Christian School Athletics! We believe that extracurricular activities--including sports--play a key role in the development of a young child's life. Sports give students the opportunity to develop physically, emotionally and spiritually. Through sports, a student's character is often tested and refined. Our interscholastic athletic program strives for outstanding sportsmanship, coaching excellence and achievement in team and individual competitions. As a member of CYC (Catholic Youth Council) sports league, TOCS has the opportunity to compete in sporting events with other student teams throughout St. Louis area. Below on our webpage you will find more information about our Athletics program, if you have more questions contact email@example.com.
PHILOSOPHY OF TWIN OAKS ATHLETICS
We want our students to understand that whatsoever we do, it should be done to the glory of God. We see the benefit for our students to interact with each other in a setting other than the classroom, learning about being part of a team, strengthening relationships and teaching them to encourage each other. Within that perspective, it is with the following purpose that we provide a sports program at TOCS:
Primary Goals: • Honor and glorify God • Encourage friendships and strengthen relationships • Enjoy the participation in a team sport • Develop individual and team skills Secondary Goals: • Learn how to win and lose with a proper attitude • Learn to enjoy personal and team accomplishment • Learn to appreciate the gifts of others; both of teammates and opponents • Model Christian leadership • Support our community
